Jobs

Our next activity was about jobs. Students answered questions:

  • What do you want to be when you grow up?

  • Which jobs do you think are interesting? Or dangerous? Or boring?

- First, students wrote what they would like to be in the future. They wrote their answer in the Answergarden. They could only write one.

- Second, students went to the forum and explained what they wanted to be in the future and why.

- Third, students made a list with all the jobs they could think about. Then they had to draw themselves so we could prepare some bingo charts and cards to play with. Kahoot quiz were made with the drawings:

JOBS

- Fourth, each group was given a job. Students had to prepare questions in their international groups to ask to a person who worked at that specific job. There was a Google doc for each group.

- Finally, students did the interviews. Some of the students were the reporters and others the working person. Students ran the interviews during online learning, what was a challenge for them and for the teachers as well.

On Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th April 2020 we met to record the interviews and to revise jobs names. We also played Kahoot.
